Michael Testa, Sr. - President

Michael L. Testa, the senior partner of Basile and Testa Attorneys at Law, is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1975. Mr. Testa is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil and Criminal Trial Attorney, and has been certified in Civil Trial Advocacy and by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Testa is author of numerous published articles and is a frequent lecturer on trial practice. He served as the President of ATLA New Jersey from 1995-1996. Mr. Testa's professional associations include the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Cumberland County Bar Association, the American Arbitration Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers, and the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey.

He resides in Buena with his wife Ellen.

Beverly DiMatteo - Treasurer

Beverly DiMatteo is an officer of Mainline Floor Covering, Inc. and Jeffco Contractors, Inc. in Vineland, which she has owned and operated with her husband, Jeff DiMatteo, since 1989. Prior to the flooring business, she served as a senior accountant for 15 years with a local accounting firm. She is a lifetime Vineland resident graduating from Sacred Heart High School and Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is currently President of the Bishop Schad Regional School PTO. Mrs. DiMatteo also generously donates her time to her Church and various community and school organizations. She has three daughters and a granddaughter.

Edgar G. Galloway III (Gary)

Gary Galloway is the President of Rental Country Inc. since 1981. In 1993 the Small Business Award was awarded to Rental Country by the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce. Prior to that, he was employed by Wainwright Funeral Home as a licensed funeral director.

He formerly served as president of the Vineland Jaycees, Kiwanis Club, Vineland Service Clubs Council, and the American Red Cross-Vineland Chapter. In addition, he served as President and Campaign Chairman of the Greater Vineland United Way. He is a past recipient of The Outstanding Young Man Award presented by the Vineland Jaycees. Gary is a past member of the CEO Group.

In June 2005 he was appointed President of The Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce where he has been a member since 1999. He has been a member of the Vineland Industrial Commission since 1988, serving as Chairman from 1991 to present. Gary is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of VDID/Main Street Vineland, serving as Vice Chairman in 2008. In 2007, Gary was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Cumberland Cape Atlantic YMCA and to the SJH Community Relations Advisory Board. Gary was honored by the Hendricks House with the 2006 Distinguished Service Award. On October 28, 2008, Gary received the prestigious Rotary Vocational Service Award and was recognized as a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow. On February 20, 2009, Gary was honored by The Grapevine Newspaper as a Vineland Hometown Hero for his outstanding community service. In August of 2009, he was asked to serve on the Landis Theater Foundation Board of Directors.

Gary graduated from American Academy-McCallister Institute of Funeral Service and holds an Associate in Science Degree from Temple University. He completed the Cumberland County Leadership course in 2003.

Gary is a lifelong resident of Vineland where he resides with his wife, Betty. They have three children and 4 grandchildren.

Ron Rossi

Ron Rossi is a lifelong Vineland resident. A graduate of Vineland High School, Ron went on to earn his bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Mr. Rossi is the owner of Rossi Honda. He is a board member of several local organizations and businesses including the YMCA, Betty Bacharach Rehabilitation Hospital, Sacred Heart High School, the CEO Group, the Vineland Chamber of Commerce and the Exchange Club. Ron and his wife Bonnie reside in Vineland and have three daughters and one granddaughter.

Dominick Baruffi II

Dominick Baruffi is a lifelong area resident.  He attended Buena Regional High School and Seton Hall University.  He  is CEO of Jersey Panel Corporation and Executive Vice President of Baruffi Bros. Incorporated.  Mr. Baruffi is a member and past member of several local boards including South Jersey Healthcare, Sun National Bank, Cumberland Christian School and Living Faith Alliance Church.

Dominick is married to wife Donna and has three children, Dominick III, Dante and Daria.

Donna M. Baruffi

Donna Baruffi has been an area resident for twenty-five years. She graduated from Oakcrest High School and the Taylor Business Institute.  Donna works as a Travel Consultant with SoJern Travel. She is a member of South Jersey Healthcare Auxiliary Board of Directors and Living Faith Alliance Church where she currently serves on the worship team.

Donna is married to Dominick and has three children, Dominick III, Dante and Daria.

Todd W. Heck

Todd Heck has been a partner at Basile and Testa Attorneys at Law since 1996. He has a broad-based commercial and estate law practice, with an emphasis on business dispute resolution and transaction planning. He earned a post-graduate law degree, a Masters in Taxation, from New York University in 1983. His primary law degree was earned at the Villanova University School of Law in 1979. He is also a graduate of Lehigh University (B.S. in Management with high honors, 1976).

Todd is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, and is active in the Cumberland County and New Jersey State Bar Associations (including six years of service on the County Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee). Locally he has served as the solicitor for the Cumberland County Improvement Authority and the Maurice River Township Zoning Board.

Todd is active in local charitable and civic affairs, having received distinguished service recognition from the Cumberland County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the U.S. Congress. He and his wife Maureen reside in historic Mauricetown, New Jersey.

Dr. Keith Figgs

Dr. Keith Figgs was born in Brooklyn, New York and relocated to Vineland in 1963. He is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey). He received his Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Administration from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Keith’s career in Vineland began as a classroom teacher including two years as a teacher of the gifted and talented. He served as principal of the Winslow Elementary School and the Butler Avenue Kindergarten Center. He has worked as the Director of various district summer programs and as the evening supervisor of the Vineland Adult Education Center. Keith was employed by the Salem City School District where he was an assistant principal of the Fenwick Elementary School, director of Adult and Community Education and principal of the Salem Adult High School. Dr. Figgs served as the Assistant Superintendent for Administration for the Vineland School District for 16 years, until his retirement in 2009.

He is a member of many professional organizations and is the past president of the Cumberland County Association of School Administrators and the Rowan University Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa. Keith is a former member of the Alumni Council for Teachers College, Columbia University. In 2010, he was awarded the Alumni Citation Award from the College of New Jersey.

Dr. Figgs is the past Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Community Treatment Solutions, which provides psychological services for children and adolescents. He is currently vice-chairman of the Board of Trustees for Cumberland County College. Keith is currently working for the New Jersey Department of Education as a Network Turnaround Officer for the Wiggins and the Cramer College Preparatory Lab Schools in Camden.

Robert Odorizzi

Born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Robert Odorizzi has deep family roots in the Vineland area where both his parents and grandparents have lived and worked. His commitment to the community has resulted in his being an active member of numerous community organizations which include the Bishop McCarthy Auxiliary where he serves as its president, the Sicilian- American Club where he serves as a member of the board of directors and the treasurer. He is the vice chairperson of the South Jersey Hospital Auxiliary which supports the efforts of the local medical center. Robert is also a founding member and treasurer of the of the Italian Cultural Foundation of South Jersey. In addition he serves on the board of directors of the Dream Foundation , an organization which assists families of children facing serious medical conditions.

Robert is a business owner in Vineland as well as a partner in the restaurant Fat Jack’s Barbecue. He also owns the design firm Intertex, Inc. Following graduation from Vineland High School, Robert attended Stockton College where he majored in business administration. For both the current and past Mayor he has served as the Treasurer of the city of Vineland.

Caleb Soto

Caleb Soto is President and Founder of DeSoto Jewelers, established in 1987. He is a diamond setter and jeweler by trade with 32 years experience. He began his apprenticeship at the age of 17 in New York City’s Diamond District.
 
Mr. Soto is one of the original 27 organizers of Capital Bank. He has served on the board of VDID for the past 6 years and most recently was a board member for South Jersey Healthcare Foundation.
 
Caleb actively supports various youth organizations, PALS, South Jersey Youth Alliance, The Royal Rangers, and the Vineland Little League. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.

Steven Schimmel

Steven Schimmel is the Executive Director of Jewish Federation of Cumberland, Gloucester & Salem Counties. 

Mr. Schimmel has a B.A. in History and a B.A. in Political Science from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York. He studied at the Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at Oxford University in Oxford, England. And, he is a graduate of Southern New Jersey Academy for the Performing Arts at GCIT, located in Sewell, New Jersey.  

Steven has worked for International Creative Management in Los Angeles, and Eventive Marketing LLC in New York City. He is a longtime Vineland resident.
