Theater Enhancement Surcharge

To ensure the long term success of the project and the continuing preservation of the Landis Theater Performing Arts Center, the plan includes an on-going surcharge of $2.00 per ticket for every paid event held at the theater. Funds generated through this patron fee will be specifically dedicated to two restricted funds: the Preservation fund and the Cultural Growth Fund. As a fully restored building, the theater will not have immediate preservation needs. However, in the early years of operation, funding for Cultural Growth fund will provide greater ability to expand business and creative programming opportunities. As the building ages, shifting a higher percentage to the Preservation Fund may be necessary to offset increasing capital repairs and preservation efforts. The board of directors will make decisions relating to the percentage split for this patron surcharge as the needs of the operation change.

Processing Surcharge

The Processing Surcharge of $3.00 per ticket is applied to on-line and phone orders that cover the printing and mailing of tickets as well as fees accrued through credit card providers.
